I am delighted to welcome  you to Woodkirk Academy and Sixth Form.  We are a popular, successful and oversubscribed school, and are extremely proud of what our students and staff accomplish.

A Level Results 2025

Students in Year 13 at Woodkirk Academy are celebrating once again this year.  Due to the impact of RAAC, this year’s Year 13 cohort were without a dedicated Sixth Form centre throughout the first year of their Key Stage 5 study, which affected their independent study, mentoring and social areas.  Nonetheless, this year’s outcomes represent the highest achieved at Woodkirk Academy, building on the success of 2024, which placed the school in the top five Sixth Form providers in the city.

Principal Mr Tim Jones said “We are, once again, delighted by these outcomes and the students and staff at Woodkirk Academy should be proud of the grades that have been attained.  They have worked incredibly hard, and have shown a great deal of determination and resilience.  I wish all of our students the very best for the future; I look forward to hearing about their ongoing successes.”

Assistant Principal and Director of Sixth Form Mrs Kathryn Clarke said “For the huge majority, the outcomes reflect the outstanding work ethic that has been demonstrated and I am delighted that so many have successfully secured a place at their first-choice destination.  Well done to them all and good luck as they move on to pastures new.  We can’t wait to welcome next year’s cohort to Woodkirk Academy Sixth Form.”

RESULTS 2025

AS and A Level, and Level 3 BTEC

AS and A Level, and Level 3 BTEC results will be available to collect from the Sixth Form Block on Thursday 14 August 2025 at the following times:

Year 13 – 8 am until 11 am

Year 12 – 10 am until 11 am

GCSE and Level 2 BTEC

GCSE and Level 2 BTEC results will be available to collect from the Sixth Form Block on Thursday 21 August 2025 at the following times:

Year 11 – 8 am until 11 am

 

Years 12 or 13 resit students – 8 am until 11 am

Year 10 – 10 am until 11 am

Certificates are not received from exam boards until November; these can be collected from January onwards. Arrangements can be made by emailing Exams@woodkirk.leodis.org.uk.
